I love making and eating dips, and really wanted to develop a more healthy recipe to enjoy. That’s how this loaded bacon ranch dip, made using Greek yogurt, came about.
Loaded Bacon Ranch Dip (Using Greek Yogurt)
I love this recipe because it makes a small portion. I see recipes for ranch dips all the time that require 16oz of sour cream or Greek yogurt, but that’s just WAY too much!
By using the individual cups of yogurt, you’re getting a protein-packed, satisfying snack, but you won’t have a crazy amount of leftovers. This portion is perfect for one or two people to enjoy.
Ingredients:
Individual cup of plain Greek yogurt (between 5-6 oz)
1 Tbsp dry Ranch Dressing mix (to taste – this is about 1/3 of a full envelope of it)
1-2 Tbsp bacon pieces
1 Tbsp chopped green onion
To Make:
Simply stir all of the ingredients together! I love to top mine with a little extra bacon bits and green onion to make it prettier.
This tastes even better if you can refrigerate it for several hours before eating it so that the flavors have time to mix together, but it can be enjoyed right away.
Serve with your favorite dippers, such as chips, carrots, celery, or cucumber slices.
Be sure to refrigerate leftovers.
As pictured, I like to serve this dip with Simply7 Chips. I was given lots samples of these tasty chips for my Pinner’s Conference talk about Snacks for Kids with 5 Ingredients or Less, and I wanted to develop a recipe to go along well with them. My attendees got to make this ranch dip, and everyone seemed to love the chips with it.
