I had to put this site to the test once I heard about it. Santa’s Hideout was EASY to register with. Literally 2 VERY brief screens of info and you’re in! Then you get to choose what communications you’d like from the site, including if you want to be alerted when recipients or friends and relatives make updates to your list(s).
Next, you add your kids and set a maximum number of gifts they can put on their list AND a maximum dollar value amount that their requested gifts can be.
Another SUPER cool feature of this site is that YOU can email your little one from the email address santa@santashideout.com – YES, you can email your child from Santa Claus himself!! Won’t your little one be shocked and HONORED to receive an official email straight from the big guy himself? I’ve heard of parents using this system to email cute little reminders to their kids to be respectful in schools, or don’t forget to do your chores, or telling them they did a great job on their latest achievement. How neat is that?
