I just watched the coolest clips from a great comedy event called Stand Up For Family. The clips include hilarious stand-up from Bill Belamy, Mark Viera, Tony Roberts, and more. Make sure you click on the tabs with the different comedians’ names to see all the clips – this will keep you laughing for a long time.
My favorite one was from Rodney Perry called “I Ain’t Going Nowhere” and also the one he did called “Your Kids Don’t Know You”. They are both hilarious because I can totally relate. When I watched the first one, I laughed because I totally agree – it’s easier to just focus on being in it for the long haul because it’d be a disaste rto spring this humdrum mess on someone new. LOL I’ll just work through the issues – it’s easier at this point. hehe I also loved on the second one where he did his impression of his son dancing… I can only imagine how I’m going to have to try and relate to my kids as teenagers. I already have issues with their weirdness and they’re just little now! 😛
I’m really glad that AmFam put this family friendly stand-up comedy together. I love that I can watch it with the kids around and not have to worry about anything vulgur or bad language like with most comedy shows. My husband got a kick out of it, to. Funny without the junk… Yep, I like it. 🙂
Another thing I liked about it was that it really brought up the importance of family and how we can stick together through the good times and the bad times. We weren’t laughing meanly at others’ family situations – we were cracking up because it was relatable and in good fun. 🙂 I never would have expected that it was something put on by American Family Insurance. For them to have spent so much time and star-power on it, you can tell that they really do support strong family values and relationships. So cool.
Watching this gave me such a good laugh. I really hope that I’m able to get to some live comedy sometime soon now that I live in the DFW metroplex and have access to it. What I *really* wish is that I can find a good stand-up venue with clean fun like the video clips shown on this website.
