I know that parents everywhere discuss the “Terrible Twos” as if that’s the only age group that has challenges. However, I don’t know any actual moms or dads that feel like it’s smooth sailing all years except that one!
My youngest has been a little daredevil lately, freaking me out with his antics. He sort of freaks himself out, too, because he gets into weird predicaments and has no idea how to get out of them. Then, I get to hear the whimpers, the cries, and the panting as I get closer. He gets so relieved when I “save” him.
He’s a turkey, but I love him! Now, before I get too wordy…. my sweet little Charlie-poo.

He’s my little deep sleeper. Such a snuggly man!

He loves chomping on his toothbrush. LOVES!

He is addicted to pistachios.

His big sister, Grace, loves him so much… and he really enjoys snuggling with her. Here, he is using her skirt as a blanket. 🙂

This is how Charlie and his big brother help me “work out”. I start a walking workout and they cling to my legs. Exhausting.

Brotherly love. Biggest brother and littlest brother. I love this so much, I can hardly stand it. <3
What age is or was hardest for you as a parent? What age do you wish you could revisit with your kid(s)?
My kids are 38, 39, and 41. I really miss the little years, from birth to about 6 or 7. That’s when everything was new and they learned new things every day, and had such innocence and joy in their eyes. The hardest years were the middle school years, because they were constantly pushing the rules and trying to figure out their own way of doing things.

Awwww. How sweet. Love the picture of the hugs. Very sweet. My kids are 7 and 3 and honestly I wish they’d stop growing 🙁

I loved the 2 and 3 ages. Of course mine are only 5 and 12 right now. So that’s subject to change.
Oh I love these!
I didn’t have (much) trouble during the twos … it’s age NINE that’s given me the most trouble so far! 😉

I had to stop working out when my son was that age because he’d cling to me, too!

For me the hardest age seems to be whatever age my oldest daughter is…. she is 5 years old now and a complete drama queen. But since she is the oldest she is my learning child… I’m figuring out this whole parenting thing and then when the younger ones reach those same ages I have a bit of a grasp for what to expect. If that makes any sense.

Those weird predicaments make for some great blackmail photos later 🙂 Well, I think two is just the start of the days of independence but at least they grasp a bit more at three.

I really loved the baby phase at about two years old. That was my favorite.
