Woot woot! I have been working out lately!
I’ve decided I’m done not “caring” about what I look and feel like. I’m starting to work out DAILY. I am mostly doing workouts a la Leslie Sansone and tracking my workouts and joining in on the teams at Spark People.
At this point, I’m not really tracking food, but I am trying to eat healthier options and exercise at LEAST 30 minutes a day (but often more).
What are your best weight loss tips? What has been great or not so great for you? 🙂
I use My Fitness Pal.com a lot. I haven’t been very strict w/ it lately though. I also go to Zumba class on Tues and Thursdays. That is MY time!! I also joined a gym and I was going there 6 nights a week. I have been VERY BAD at the gym lately. I havent gone in a week. I’m in a funk. Need to start up again this week. Would be helpful if the baby actually went to bed w/out a fuss!
In Jan. I weighed 195 and today I am 179! Working out totally helps me maintain losing each week. When I don’t, I don’t lose. It’s a pain, but worth it in the end!
I’ve lost 12lbs this spring by tracking my food. I’ve been using the tracker at Calorie Count (because I found it easier to use than the one at SparkPeople). Trying to stick to a 1200-1500 calories per day diet has helped me tremendously to see how much I was eating before (TOO MUCH!).
As far as exercise goes, I’m on my feet all day at work, so I’m not really up for traditional exercise when I get off. But I do ride my bike 8 miles at least 4 days a week.
