Isn’t is so much fun to watch your little preschooler learn the shapes? I’ve found that plenty of repetition is necessary to make sure they memorize them correctly. These activities help to teach and practice shapes with preschoolers in ways that will really help them remember!
My kids would always make me laugh when we were doing basic memorization of shapes, colors, letters, and numbers. They would get a good handful of them down PAT and then totally guess on the others. It was so cute the confidence that they oozed, even when they were SO wrong. I wish we could bottle up that toddler and preschool confidence and fearlessness!
Here are some great games, crafts, and activities to do with little ones. You’ll find that a lot of them will also hit on those other skills like colors and numbers. If it is fun, they’ll learn and not complain. That sounds like a win in my book.
