My family of 7 always fills a minivan, so I was totally psyched about trying out the brand new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Limited for a week. I started brainstorming places we could go to take full advantage of this sweet ride, and ended up using it a lot!
There were so many awesome features that we loved, including the:
- Surround View Camera System
- Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection
- 2nd Row and 3rd Row Stow’n Go Seats
- Keyless Enter-N-Go
- Ventilated Front Seats
- Heated Steering Wheel
My daughter was probably the most excited about us getting to try out our review vehicle. She wanted to go on a girls’ day with me right away. We decided to hit up the pet store together, without any stinky boys.
I love how the body of the Pacifica looks. It honestly reminds me more of an SUV or almost a wagon type body rather than the typical minivan due to the curves and proportions. I thought it looked (and drove!) “smaller” than it actually was.
After looking around at the fish and turtles for what seemed like an eternity, and then checking out the dollar store nearby, we got back in the Pacifica to end our girls’ day.
Fours bags and a huge package of bedding for Grace’s hamster didn’t even make a dent in the storage space in the back of the Pacifica. This is one of those non-negotiable attributes in any family vehicle that we consider, because KIDS and STUFF always go hand in hand. We’ve tried vehicles that have technically seated all of us but have NOT left room for any storage. The Chrysler Pacifica left me pleasantly surprised!
Let’s face it, I was making up excuses to get out and use the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Limited. We took it for a spin to LEGOLAND Discovery Center one of the days. Too bad I forgot to switch my stroller over from my normal vehicle to this one. I was really looking forward to those comfy air conditioned leather seats in the Pacifica when we were done at the attraction. Whew!
Our time with the Pacifica was coming to an end, so I quickly thought of more places we could go. THE MOVIES! Of course, the kids fought over who would get to sit where. Luckily, there’s plenty of seating for my family of 7, and there’s not a bad seat in the place. We found there to be more than enough leg room, and the seats were all adjustable. You could even make the third row seats lean back or sit straight up at varying degrees.
The Tri-Pane Panoramic Sunroof was a huge hit for my kids. Obviously I didn’t let them hang out of it while we were driving, but I couldn’t stop my 4 year old from his excitement when we were at the grocery store! I honestly think this feature is awesome because it’s a fun way to let some light in and allow for really cool views for all passengers.
The 2nd and 3rd row Stow’N Go were AMAZING. I posted a video about it on Instagram, but the HUGE interior space of this van, as well as the stowing capabilities made it possible for me to bring home a large deep freeze from my dad’s house! I haven’t been able to do this for a long time because my vehicle isn’t wide or tall enough because my seats don’t fold all the way down in both the second and third rows. Chrysler Pacifica to the rescue!
