Summer is here! That means it’s time for backyard barbecues, family gatherings, and even a few warm weather holiday parties. Check out this refreshing and tasty Honey Citrus Fruit Dip recipe that I developed for my own family.
If you’re wanting something that’s quick to throw together and light, you’ll love this simple dip.
Honey Citrus Fruit Dip Recipe
This one is truly up to your own tastes and can be tweaked as you see fit. Feel free to use flavored yogurts if you prefer, or even mix it up with grapefruit or orange juice. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain yogurt of your choice (Greek or regular will work, as will non-dairy options)
- 1 Tbsp Lime or Lemon juice (or a combination)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 cup honey
Instructions
- Blend, whip, or stir all ingredients together.
- Taste and add more of any of the ingredients to suit your taste.
- Serve as a dip or drizzle over fruit fruit for a refreshing, tangy treat.
- Store in an air-tight container. Leftovers will need to be stirred before serving.
My daughter had a fun time squeezing the juice from our limes to make this dip. She liked using this dip with her watermelon, cantaloupe, blueberries, and apple slices.
Leftovers won’t keep long, and will need to be stirred often and used quickly. The citrus tends to separate from the rest of the ingredients.
Use it as a dip or a drizzle with all of your favorite summer fresh fruits.

I absolutely love fresh watermelon and peaches. I could eat both of them all day long.
I pinned this dip for our housewarming party (if we ever get our kitchen completed)!

This fruit dip sounds fabulous! Great for a playdate or even a summer BBQ. We love strawberries and apples the most in our household and I think the dip would be yummy on both!
