So we all know we need to work out more often and most of us crave variety! Also, many of my lovely readers are super frugal and don’t want to spend a million bucks trying out this fitness program and that fitness program only to be left disappointed or frustrated!
Here are some places that I personally like to look for free or cheap workout solutions… I thought I’d share these and also would LOVE to hear what YOU use!! Please share in the comments if you are aware of and/or use something different. 🙂

- Exercise.TV – There are so many AWESOME workouts on here!! You can view FULL LENGTH workouts absolutely free. They do have a premium pass service, but if you’re semi-adventurous, you can get by just using their freebies. 🙂
- Sparkpeople.com – They have TONS of free fitness videos to choose from. Not only do they have great cardio, but there are strength training videos as well. I love Spark People anyway because they also have a great community on there and the food tracking and fitness tracking features are great – and FREE!
- CollageVideo.com – While this site doesn’t actually have free workouts, they DO have an extensive library of CLIPS of many popular workout videos. If you have been wanting to try something but you’re not sure if it’ll be up your alley, check this site out. It’s a great way to try before you buy!
- Leslie Sansone – Her Walk At Home website has some free clips, including a full length beginner workout. She had a 21 Day Challenge back in November and you can look at her videos she recommends (free) here. You might also consider joining her Walk Club! It is less than the price of 2 DVDs and she posts videos on there every single month (Most months have had 4-6 varying in miles and/or body parts worked since I have joined… Great value!)
- Youtube – There are some full length workouts on Youtube. Think of what kind of workout you want and use search terms like “part 1 yoga workout” or “walking workout” or “free workout” and you’ll find TONS! Or, you can search for your favorite trainer. Chances are good that you’ll at least find a clip!
- The LIBRARY! – Most libraries have a great lending library of DVDs. What a lot of people don’t think about is that there may be exercise DVDs there! Check it out!
Okay, so that’s it for that…
How’d I do today?
Not good at all! Planning on starting tomorrow fresh with a large glass of water FIRST THING!!! 🙂
How are you doing??
