So I received a great product in the mail last week. They are called Applied Labels and they are dishwasher and laundry-safe labels. I received a sample package that included their basic labels, as well as a sheet of Shoe Shields and a sheet of Blank Clothing Backers. I chose for my labels to say _______ Family (the blank being my last name of course!) and have a star icon on them.
There are 3 fonts to choose from and 18 icons (or you can choose not to have a design added). At first glance, the labels may seem quite plain. I’ll admit, I was a little bummed to see that there weren’t any flashy color or design options. Honestly, once I tried the products, I kind of liked the streamlined simplicity of the labels because they stood out. I have used several brands of labels and it seems like the more flashy they are, the more they kind of blend in to whatever you’re labeling. Black and White stands out!
I stuck my labels to several surfaces. They stayed put in my children’s shoes, they stayed well on books, sippy cups, and toys. The clothing tags stayed on well, too. You apply them directly to the clothing’s label and place a plain backer up against the name label. It really does stay put through being washed and dried! The 2 sides adhere to each other very well.
I had no problems with these products and they served their functions well! It is so nice to have a good quality product to label the kids’ gear so it doesn’t get lost or mixed up!
