Last year, we were lucky enough to experience ICE! at Gaylord Texan and the rest of their annual Lone Star Christmas celebration. We were asked back this year, so we’ll be checking it out for ourselves soon! This year’s theme is Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town and I cannot wait to see how the ice sculptors and designers have incorporated this into everything.
Last year, it was absolutely beautiful. I have no doubt it’ll be breath-taking this year as well. The Gaylord Texan goes above and beyond, decorating the entire place with millions of lights, a 54-foot Christmas tree, and 2,300 decorated wreaths.

While we really did love the ice sculptures and visiting the FREEZING ICE! exhibit, my kids had a lot of fun in the warmer parts of the place as well. The Snow Tubing Hill was by far their favorite thing. I hope we can try out the ice skating this year.
