Shutterfly Holiday Collection + $50 Giveaway!

Holiday time means family pictures, holiday cards, and gifts galore.  Shutterfly is a site that I have been using for years for quality products with so much variety.  Whether you need to send 300 Christmas cards out, or you need a special family heirloom-quality gift to give to your great aunt, Shutterfly has the right thing at a great price.

The Cards

The Shutterfly 2013  is already up, and I have found several favorites already.  How amazing is it that most of these designs hold several photos, so you don’t have to pick just one anymore?  The ones I’m considering this year are Simply Wonderful (in black – that color scheme is gorgeous), Year in Photos (I love the layout of this – it really reminds me of a magazine editorial), and Peace Love Cookies (need I say more?).

If you haven’t check out what’s new on Shutterfly for the 2013 holiday season, you will be in love once you see everything.  There are tons of new card design styles for 2013, including 5×7, folded, tri fold, and even back of card designs.  There are many types to choose from:

  • Classic: Traditional colors, iconic illustrations, aspirational sentiments, snowflakes, monogram
  • Contemporary: trend forward colors, texture and layering, water color techniques, shine, glitter, Instagram pictures are perfect for this style
  • Whimsy: humor and nostalgia meet, fun sentiments
  • Merry and Bright: all about color and having fun
  • Religious: metallic type treatments, incorporated story ideas
  • Photo Basics: multiple colors, vertical type, family name highlights

The Gifts

When it comes to holiday shopping, photo gifts are by far my favorite way to surprise family members on special occasions. The hardest part is choosing the best photo (or several!), because Shutterfly has a vast selection of to choose from that are great for all budgets and needs.

In the past, I’ve used Shutterfly to make photobooks as our annual Christmas present, but I’m thinking about trying something new this year.  I love the gift options available now that I’ve never seen before.  They have custom iPhone, iPad, and Samsung Galaxy cases.  What a rad gift!

Shutterfly even sells photo fleece blankets!  I know a certain grandma (or two or three or four) that would LOVE to snuggle up with their grandkids when they can’t really do it in person! 🙂  There’s a woven blanket option, too.

    I love the falling snowflakes card….its such a hard choice though! I love Shutterfly! I use them all the time!

    I cant decide between the Oh What Fun tri-fold and the Blessings card. I liked several toward the bottom also. I love that you can pic your own color theme on several cards and they are general enough that they easily work for Hanukkah too.

    Although I really like many of them, I think “Blessed Beyond Words” is my fave. This would be a great win as I would use it to purchase Christmas gifts for the grandparents of my little girl!

    I love the Shiny And Bright Christmas Card, it really stands out, I have so many things to make from Shutterfly this year. I make a special memories ShutterFly photo book every year book of for my Granddaughter. They do beautiful quality work.

    Falling Snowflakes one because it allows for so many picure. The Colors of Chirstmas fold out one is cool too.

    Oh, this would be soooo awesome, I love Shutterfly and just uploaded a ton of photos over the weekend that are sitting and waiting to be turned into holiday cards hahaha! I most love the Colorful Flurries card.
