I love product reviews. Before I purchase anything big or new or totally unique, I LOVE to look at honest product reviews. Furthermore, I enjoy looking at reviews from people I can relate to. I don’t always love to just check out HUGE websites and trust random reviews. I love the personal touch of blogger reviews or reviews by people that I know (whether online or in real life).
For this reason, I’ve decided to do lots of product reviews on this website as the opportunity comes up. I don’t want them to take over the ENTIRE focus of my blog, but I want to be able to bring some honest reviews of products to the blog. I am hoping to ONLY post mostly positive reviews, but I am not going to lie about a product I didn’t love.
Along with the reviews, many companies will sponsor giveaways! How fun you YOU, the reader! I hope to bring many fun giveaways to the blog so that you have chances to win fun prizes while seeing my opinion on things, too. I hope that you get to “know” me and find that you can trust my reviews! 🙂
I would love to hear about your thoughts on product reviews (on blogs or in general!). What about giveaways? Do you normally rate or review products or services when you have a good experience? What about a bad one? Are reviews important?
I do look for product reviews on a lot of things before I buy, especially if I’m buying online. Reading reviews has saved me from making many expensive mistakes.

Yes, reviews on the blogs are important. It says that the companies who participate in them do care about what people say about their products.
Plus, reviews and giveaways give an opportunity to educate us, buyers!
For the past 2 years, I’ve been using and reviewing the products I’m passionate about (without asking any free products from companies.) If I liked the products, I would write a review and interview creators of those products! That has been an amazing experience!
This year, I’m opening a new chapter of Giveaways on my blog (this part is not visible yet.)
Get the products and companies you are personally interested in and passionate about! That counts a lot!!! No advice, per se, it’s what I found worked for me.

Reviews are so important this day and age. Our hard earned money definitely needs to go to something we can trust and reviews really let us know what we’re getting ourselves into. We, like you, appreciate reviews done by people with similar views.
