Okay, so you guys ALL just saw my post about my Saturday. I just thought I’d update you on what all went down.
Remember that nap that I was so excited about? HAHAHAHA!
Okay, so I was totally not able to sleep on Friday… like at all. It was pretty bad! I went to sleep at 3:45, woke up at 5:45, went and got donuts and head out the the park to do Bountiful baskets. If you volunteer, you show up an hour early so in this case it was 6:15. (Ours used to be the latest time in our area, but they switched it around this last weekend. YUCK!)
Me and the 2 girls running it show up at 6:15 and NO delivery driver… it was SO COLD (Okay, like 45 degrees… cold for us! Our highs have been in the upper 90s here!) Finally, finnnnnnnnnally the guy shows up right about 7:05. Good GRIEF!!! What makes that worse is that by being late to us, he was VERY late to the next 2 sites he was supposed to be going to – yikes!
Okay, so I sort out the food, get some fun extras, head over to a friend’s house to drop off HER stuff, and then head home.
I got home around 9:30 and it took me a good 30 minutes to get all the produce sorted out and put up…. I fed the kiddos the leftover donuts and told everyone to start cleaning up the house in case we got any showings this weekend. I told them I was going to lay down for a nap (this was at about 10:15) and that I was going to set my alarm for 10:45 so we could head out to the farm and get there by 11:30 to get our eggs.
