Attention: I am a born and bred Texan girl! is something that is practically in my blood. I am not lying when I say that chili was one of my first foods. No, seriously. I saw in my baby book that I had chili and cornbread at four months old. Yeah, chili has been a big part of my life for almost all of it!
Wolf Brand Chili has always been my favorite. It is thick and meaty, and I love that there are so many varieties available. I am not at all surprised that the #1TexasChili is Wolf Brand Chili.
Stay Tuned to the end of this post for a Texas-Sized Giveaway Courtesy of Wolf Brand Chili!

Wolf Brand Chili heard their consumers loud and clear when they said they were craving a chili with a little more substance, so now Wolf Brand Chili is thicker and heartier than ever. Just the way Texans like it!
I like chili on tons of things. It’s tasty on chips, french fries, in macaroni and cheese, on top of baked potatoes, with cornbread, over rice, to make a cowboy spaghetti, as a hot dog topping, mixed with queso for a killer party dip, or on its own for a hearty meal just perfect any time of the year.
Winner, Winner, Chili Dinner!

When my dad was in town last week, I decided to have a yummy do it yourself chili bar for a family dinner. It makes it easy for everyone to customize their thick and hearty bowl of Wolf Brand Chili with toppings and add-ins that they personally love. It was also neat to bring my family together to enjoy something that I fondly remember as a childhood favorite of my own.

The biggest hits for us were the crackers, tortilla chips, and cheese! Everyone seemed to grab for those. I wish I had some avocados on hand, because that would have been a great, cool addition to the bowl.
Party On!
Look at this idea if you’re considering hosting your very own chili night.

Oh my goodness gracious I love this giveaway. I also love that the chili has no beans. I was just joking with someone and talking on my blog that if it has beans it aint a Texas recipe cause out chili don’t have beans.
This time of head I love chili plain our on my hotdogs.
Wolf Brand Chili is the only chili I will eat! I was brought up on it, and for me, nothing else compares! Even homemade! 🙂
I love Wolf Brand Chili – just plain (you don’t need any extras with Wolf Brand) or over chips with a little cheese. As a mom, I love the convenience of being able to open a can or two for a last-minute meal!

Wolf chilli is the only chilli allowed from a can here in Jonesville. The current season favorite is frito pie!
We are big Chili fans here in Wisconsin! I usually make our Chili from scratch, but would love to try this brand!
If we eat canned chili, we ONLY eat Wolf chili. My husband brought home some store brand and I told him it wasn’t okay. We ate it, but it sure reminded me why I buy Wolf. That was for hot dogs, but we eat it with Frito pie, plain, and in recipes as well.
My family is originally from Texas and they will only eat Wolf brand chili. They would buy cases on visits to Texas and bring them back home to Illinois. My favorite way to eat it is with Fritos, cheese, and sour cream. Of course there has to be about half a bowl of Fritos, with the chili and other fixings on top. 🙂
I love wolf brand chili… it a family favorite 🙂 I like it with a little cheese and crackers and sometimes over the top of hotdogs. Yummy

I am the only person in my family born in Texas & I am so glad I was. Our favorite way to enjoy Wolf Brand Chili is in chili spaghetti. My dad, a Yankee of all folks, introduced me to it as a kid. We have always only used Wolf brand as nothing else tastes as good. I have now introduced it to my daughter & she loves it too.
We like it with lots of cheese and crackers!
I like to eat chili on hot dogs or frito pie topped with cheese and onions.
We have our wolf chili on hot dogs w/ cheese!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Wolf Brand Chili, but it looks really good! Our whole family loves chili – as a meal, or as a topping for french fries or hot dogs.

I, too, am a Texas girl born and bred! (Altho sadly, I haven’t lived there in 16 years….tho I am very happy to be here in CO with my husband and son!)
My favorite way to enjoy Wolf Brand chili? Served very hot over a grilled cheese sandwich, sliced in half into triangles. Comfort food from my childhood! I’ve converted my husband to this but ds prefers his with saltines. 🙂

Well, this post made me hungry! 🙂 I grew up in Texas, with Wolf Brand Chili, and haven’t had any in years. I know it would be a big hit served over Chili Dogs or added in to queso dip. Yum!

I grew up on wolf chili, I really don’t eat any other brand if I can help it. I like it with cheese, lots of it. Sometimes I make frito pie with corn chips. Other times I make it amd just spoon it out with tortilla chips. I even make a sort of chili nacho casserole (I just made it one day using what I had on hand, no idea if there is a name for it.) I use a casserole dish, layer tortilla chips, chili, and Velveeta cheese, sometimes one layer each, sometimes two. I put it in the oven at 350 degrees until all the cheese is melted. Generally 15-20 minutes. My kids love it. I’m sure other things could be added to make it more your style too.
One unique way I eat chili is on a chili-dog pizza. I use chili in place of sauce, with diced wieners, onions and cheese.
I would love to win this set! I soooo need an apron. We use Wolf Brand Chili on top of our grilled hotdogs. But, after reading several of these comments – I may need to try it a different way real soon. Oh . . . I love the Texas-Shaped cutting board. My hubby was born and raised in Texas and we live in hill country part of Texas now. Those soup bowls are awesome!!! Thanks for the chance to win!
