Okay, so I think by now, you’ve all probably heard about coconut oil. What about coconut flour or coconut SUGAR? I was given a complimentary sample package of these 3 coconut products from Edible Haven and really enjoyed them!
The coconut sugar looks like unprocessed sugar, brownish and with big granules… and it tastes like regular sugar! Super cool to have a new source, especially if you have any allergies to sugar from other sources!
The coconut flour can be used in place of other flours. The sample was only a few ounces, but I used it combined with regular wheat flour in a brownie recipe and it worked great! I’d love to try a larger quantity sometime as I think it’ll work very well! Coconut flour is gluten free!
Coconut oil is such a nice product that can be used so many ways! I did sample this coconut oil in my cooking (it can be used in high-heat cooking, so I used it in a stir-fry), but I’ve also used it MANY times as a hand and foot moisturizer. I love love love it! You will, too. 🙂 It feels greasy at first, but absorbs quickly and really improves skin quality.

I would like to have this. I use coconut oil now, but would love to use the sugar and flour too. I am thinking of using the oil in my hair to see if it would help with the frizz. Yes, seriously.

I’m most interested in using the coconut sugar. I’m daydreaming of all of the desserts I would make with it. I just made some sugar cookies with plain old sugar, but I’d love to try them with coconut sugar!
