Bop It! Bounce (and a giveaway)

I got a fun new game in the mail a week or so ago from Hasbro called Bop It! Bounce.
It’s a really fun game that actually has several different game settings/mini games to play and is a GREAT game to help build or condition your coordination!  (Seriously!)  It is a one player game for kids around 7 or 8 and up.

Here’s the official info on it:

You’ve got to bounce your best to win in this awesome BOP IT Bounce game!

This ball bounce game features an electronic voice command to cue you through six different challenging games:

  • Max Bounce – tests how fast you can bounce in 30 seconds
  • Infinite Bounce – tests how long you can keep bouncing
  • Hang Time -tests how high you can bounce
  • Right Height -challenges you to match the shots called by the electronic voice
  • Little-Middle-Big – challenges you to bounce at exactly the right height
  • Free For All – lets you bounce it out freestyle

 We thought it was a really fun game, but I am horribly uncoordinated.  I plan on trying it out more on my own and then bringing it out to whoop my husband’s high scores. haha  Yeah, a little competition!! 🙂  You know, like after I “train” a bit….that’s all it is, right?

It would make an AWESOME gift for that hard to buy for kid AND it’s great because, unlike video games, the kiddos have to be active and involved!  It involves no screen time at all.  I appreciate that for sure.
This would also be fun for a family game night – challenge each others’ highest scores!

    Scattergories is one of my all time fav games ever though.

    But I lilke Candyland (cause the whole family-event he 4 year old) can play 😉

    our fave right now is connect 4. we don’t currently own that one but i’m planning on purchasing it soon. pate want’s to play with that one all the time at the library so i think for a bday we may be getting that one for sure 😉
