Choo!Choo! Thomas & Friends celebrates 70 years of friendship this year! Come all aboard the Best Friends Express and join Thomas the Tank Engine as he stops by the Dallas / Fort Worth area in downtown Grapevine.

This fun-filled event offers little engineers and their families the opportunity to take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends® series. In addition, children will meet Sir Topham Hatt™, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities including arts & crafts, storytelling and more. The tour, now in its 20th year, will make 42 stops across the U.S. and Canada and is expected to welcome nearly one million passengers in 2015.
You and your child can take a 25 minute ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, meet Sir Topham Hatt, and experience all sorts of fun activities! We loved going to Day Out with Thomas last year. My son’s favorite part was playing in a large sand pit they had available. We also really loved the petting zoo, magic show, model trains, story times, arts and crafts, temporary tattoo station, train tables, and the great picture opportunities. We even got to see a puppet show and pop bubbles that a clown was blowing for the kids. It was a wonderful time. We’re really looking forward to going again this year!!

My oldest is obsessed with Thomas the Train and honestly loves them all and knows ALL their names. His favorite to play with changes daily but if I had to choose right now he likes Percy. He has shared all his excitement and knowledge with his little brother who loves “choo choo” trains and loves playing with Thomas. They would love to go to actually ride on Thomas and meet Sir Topham Hat.
