Okay, we have all had the issue of needing to feed our kiddos more fruits and veggies. I can’t think of anyone that can honestly say that their kids eat a zillion servings of fruits and veggies without asking for more carbs, meats, dairy, or sugary goodness instead. Ooooor maybe it’s just me and my family that falls prey to this. 😉
Anyway, for us (and people like us!), there is this amazing new product out there!! It’s the Healthy Habits Kids Plate.
This plate shows kids the proper portions for different types of foods and makes it easy to see what part of the plate should be fuller than the rest – YUM! My kids LOVED the cute pictures and we had some great discussions about what all of the different categories of food were.
