If you are looking for a quick recipe for a healthy, nourishing snack or even dessert – look no further. These are inexpensive and delicious. My kids gobble them up, and they’re pretty enough to serve as little snack bites at parties as well! This banana almond coconut snack is one that I make fairly often.
I absolutely love SIMPLE snacks. I’m a total snacky person and probably consume half of my calories between meals. Can anyone out there relate? If you’re looking for more, check out my paleo snacks suggestions.
Alright, you probably have everything in your kitchen to throw this together. Check it out and let me know what you think!
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 2 Tbsp almond butter
- 1 Tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
Instructions
- Slice your banana and place it on your serving dish or plate.
- Spread almond butter on each slice.
- Sprinkle with coconut & enjoy!
It seems way too simple to be that good, but it really does hit the spot. The sweet banana, crunchy coconut, and creamy, thick nut butter textures all work well together and are very satisfying.
I usually enjoy it as a midnight snack. It’s also a great finger food for children and for parties.

It would probably be good with any nut butter – or even Nutella if you aren’t paleo. 😛
