It’s FINALLY here! Welcome to my holiday gift guide! I hope that you’ll tune in each day for more reviews (and great giveaways!) as the days go on. I am constantly adding to it as I get more products in from the awesome companies I am working with, but I am ready to go to share my favorite products of the holiday season.
For your consideration today, I am showcasing some beautiful children’s books that would be perfect to share with your family this holiday season. This particular set of books is brought to you by Zonderkidz.
First, check out The Berenstain Bears Get Ready for Christmas, by Jan & Mike Berenstain, retail value $6.99.
If you have loved the sweet Bear Family your whole life (as I have), this will already be near and dear to your heart before you even crack it open with the kiddos.
In this book, the Bear cubs hunt through their treehouse to find the missing figurines from their Nativity scene. The fun-level is upped because this book is lift-the-flap and so fun to read with kids of all ages.
My little ones enjoyed searching over the treehouse for the camels, three wise bears, and more during this wholesome Christmas book.
This Berenstain Bears book was written by Jan & Mike Berenstain. Mike is son to Jan and has been involved with the writing and illustrations of Berenstain Bears books since the 80s. It’s great to see this family continue to bring excellent family values to the masses through this highly popular series of books.
Next, check out S Is for Snowman by Kathy-Jo Wargin, retail $15.99.
This delightful book was illustrated by Richard Johnson, and the illustrations in this book are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. There are rich colors, excellently captured family moments, and familiar objects that every child will identify with. The writing in the book is also fun. This book is “God’s Wintertime Alphabet” and each item A-Z is something that kids will recognize and enjoy.
This hardcover book also comes with a glitter-adorned dust jacket that will catch the attention of your little ones as well. The target age for this book is around ages 4-7 and I would say that it would actually be a great family book for anyone from baby through 8 or 9 (or even older!). This is one that I could see being a tradition to read as a holiday bedtime story.
I’d also highly encourage you to check out Song of the Stars: A Christmas Story, by Sally Lloyd-Jones, retail $15.99. The paintings in this book are by Alison Jay.
This Nativity story is very unique. It shows readers the night of Jesus’ birth from the view of the animals around the world. They all get quite excited that the God that made them has come to live on Earth with them. They surround Jesus and gather in worship and rejoice over the birth of their King.
The illustrations alone make this book a one of a kind treasure. I love how it shows kids about the birth of Jesus in a new way. My boys really love animals and enjoyed how this book displayed so many different types. My 2, 4, and 6 year old crowd liked the book a lot and I know we’ll be reading it several more times between now and Christmas! I think this would be a really special book to read to younger children as their Christmas Eve book.
I hope you check these books out! They are all amazingly illustrated and well-written. If you have kids under 10, I can assure you that these books will be well loved in your household as they are in mine!
*I was provided with review copies of each book in order to review them. All opinions are 100% mine.

Oh my gosh, my kids would LOVE these books!
