Well, we’re on Week 2 of our Fit For Five Fitness Challenge! For those of you that were with us for week 1, thanks for checking back in this week!
I love to hear about people reaching their goals through fitness, and I love having the extra inspiration for myself as well. That’s where you come in! Tell me about how you’ve done. What are your goals? How are you getting there?
My Week Was Better!
Last week, I had a horrible cold and was unable to stay active. This week was a lot better!
We went on a trip to San Antonio, Texas, and did a TON of walking. My friend Lori of My Six Ring Circus was our awesome hostess with the mostest for the weekend. We saw The Alamo, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, tried a weird Cajun restaurant, and then spent 2 days at Sea World and Aquatica at a blogging conference.
I honestly don’t remember the last time I walked so much. Yeah, I’m generally pretty lazy. I’ll admit that I’m more than a little bit sore.
I’ll also admit that I’m also up a few pounds. I’m hoping this is just from water retention from all of the walking in a humid environment. I’m hoping to see the numbers drop on the scale over the next couple of days as I get used to being back home!

How about you? Was this a good week for you, too?
Share with everyone else what you’ve been doing to get fit this week or what you have planned! I’d love to hear about anyone that’s planning a marathon, went golfing, did a fitness video, started walking with a friend, or anything else active!
What will YOU do to help achieve your goals this week??

I have to put my weekly goals out there to be held accountable. I don’t always meet them all but I’m trying! Great job!

I try to walk a lot year round. I know what you mean by the humidity. It can feel like I’m running on a walk I normally do with ease. I’ve lost 20 lbs. just walking alone so far. And it makes you feel so much better! 🙂

Nice post. I learn something new and challenging on sites I stumbleupon everyday. It’s always exciting to read articles from other authors and practice something from other websites. annapolis taxi
