Well, it’s time to reveal how the week went with the Fit for Five Fitness Challenge! I had lots of positive feedback last week about getting this started, so I’m back this week so that you all can link up and share how it went for you. If you’ll remember, Fit for Five is simply about staying active 5 days a week to reach your goals.
Week 1: How did it go?
As embarrassing as it is to admit, I completely and utterly failed for the first week of this challenge! I do have some excuses, so close your eyes if you don’t wanna hear about it. 🙂
Wednesday, I had dental work. This consisted of numbing 3 corners of my mouth to fill 6 cavities. That had me feeling pretty disgusting all day and really sore with a migraine from the jaw pain of having my mouth pried open for so long.
Thursday-Sunday (and even today) were filled with coughing, sneezing, runny eyes, fever, ear aches, head aches, and blowing my nose. My ribs are sore from the “workout” this summer cold has given me. Lame.
I refuse to give up!
This coming week is going to be better! I want to be fit, not just thin. We have some fun events coming up this weekend, and I foresee a LOT of walking. I’m going to pick myself up, dust myself off, and try again this week!
Link Up!
Did you participate in the Fit for Five Fitness Challenge this week? Link up and tell us about it in the comments, too! I would love some inspiration, and I know everyone else would, too!
What will you do THIS week to stay fit??

What a great idea. I was on vacation last week, so I was definitely active for 5 days. Think I might follow along with this and see if I can’t get my readers to partake as well over at Mom-Spot.com.
Keep up the good work!
Yepp I failed, too. I have chronic migraines so I sleep a lot lol. I think I need a drill sergeant!

I was griping last night when I did my Video Sunday vlog about how I hate my weight, my hair, and feeling unhealthy.
YOUR post to my blog (favicon article) brought me here. I know think it’s kismet! LOL
I need to join up with you on this fit for fitness! How often do I report back?

This is a great challenge. Earlier today I decided to walk at least 15 minutes a day at least 3 times a week. I haven’t been as active as I normally am, so I want to ease back into working out regularly.
Good luck with your challenge!
