Happy New Year 2012 #Giveaway Hop – Kid books, anyone?

Several books have made it in my house this year that I think you would love to have in yours!  I am hosting a giveaway for one lucky winner to win 2 new children’s books to enjoy.

First, there is “The Changing Colors of Amos” by John Kinyon.

This book is delightfully simple, but deliciously colorful in language and in illustrations.  My kids (aged 2, almost 5, and 6) enjoyed following Amos as we found out his colors for each day of the week.  This book retails for just $14.95 and can be purchased on Amazon.  It is vibrant and fun, perfect for preschoolers or young elementary students.  I read it to my kids with my best Irish accent for an added touch. 😉

Next, you can win one book from Lima Bear Press.  Book will be selected randomly, so check out all of the awesome books available!

My kids enjoyed “How Back-Back Got His Name” most out of the series.  It is a neat little story that really shows kids that every person is important and special in a unique way and to never give up.
The Lima Bear Stories by Thomas Weck and Peter Weck are all really cute and each book is different (with familiar characters kids get to know throughout the series, of course!).  The story length is fairly long for a picture book, but the stories are engaging and my kids loved them.  These hard cover books retail for $15.95 and are available on Barnes and Noble and Amazon.

    i would love to win for my niece who is like a daughter to me.. I haven’t seen her for a year do to far distance and i know she will be happy if we both win.. she loves to read :o) thank you for this opportunity

    They’d be for my grandchildren, ages 3 & 4. I would be added to the “Library” they have at my house (their own shelf on my floor to ceiling bookcases)

    These books would be for my daughter(6 1/2). We’re trying to build a library and instill a love for reading and it looks as if our efforts are successful. She enjoys being read to and reading on her own. The books by Mo Willems are favorites.
