JJ Heller – "Loved" – Her New Album Is Out Today!! – Plus a #giveaway

I have been a big fan of JJ Heller for a long time!  Her music first caught my attention back in 2008, before she was a big Christian radio star and Billboard-charting artist!  I believe that I first heard her on Myspace (Who remembers THAT?!  That’s how I first heard of Owl City before Adam hit it big, too!  Oh, the good ole days!) and was captivated by her melodious, unique voice.  When my son was born in September 2009, her songs “Fly Away”, “Little Things”, and “Your Hands” were on my birth playlist that I listened to during my 3 hour labor and childbirth with him. 🙂

She is back with a new, beautiful CD named “Loved”, which was just released today, March 12, 2013!  This album is a great mixture of smooth, soft, sweet songs and folksy, inspiring melodies.  JJ Heller’s pure voice and raw, true lyrics are refreshing.  My favorite is the second song on the album, “For You”.

I love that I can relate to the message of each song.  I also don’t mind my daughter going around the house humming and singing these songs!  They’re a breath of fresh air, especially compared to the questionable music in the pop genre these days.  I love the God-focus of JJ’s music.  I admire how she has grown her music career and family at the same time!  She is a great role model. 🙂

    I’d love to win! JJ Heller is great. I’m sure I first heard her on one of our local Christian stations. I listen to Christian contemporary music all the time. I play it in my preschool class as well. Fortunately my preschool is run by a church and we are allowed to do that 🙂 It warms my heart when the kids start learning the songs they are hearing with me in the mornings before we start our day.

    I have heard JJ Heller on our local christian radio station,,,this would be for my daughter she loves contemporary christian music..she says it helps her with her hectic nursing school work load
