Thank you to neuro BLISS for sponsoring this post and providing the product sample.
Until a few weeks ago, I had no idea that there was a beverage product on the market to help relieve stress and bring about a calm, happy feeling. There is! It’s called neuro BLISS, and I recently gave it a try.

What is it and why do I need it?
Bottom line: you’re stressed. Check out this infographic from a recent stress study neuro conducted.

neuro BLISS is a tropical citrus lychee flavored drink designed to reduce stress and relax the mind. If you’re like me and have no idea what lychee tastes like, it reminded me of a grapefruit flavor. Drinking it actually brought me back to my childhood when I went wild with flavored sodas. It literally brought a smile to my face for that reason. 🙂
- This lightly carbonated beverage contains chamomile and a powerful blend of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants which include L-theanine, an amino acid found in green tea which has been found to reduce stress, produce relaxation and enhance focus.
- This combination provides a calming effect and promotes a positive outlook by reducing stress levels, improving memory and attention and supporting the brain, resulting in the ability to concentrate on one’s goals – not the pressure.
- All varieties of neuro drinks contain only 35 calories per bottle and have no artificial colors or flavors.
- neuro drinks can be found and purchased at Target, Walgreens, Safeway, 7-11 and other national grocery, convenience and drug stores.
I’ve actually felt like it’s made a difference in how I’ve been able to face the day. For any of you that are friends of mine on Facebook, you know that I’ve been dealing with some seriously naughty-acting children lately. My youngest draws on walls, my next youngest kicks and throws little fits, and the oldest ones squabble. It all usually happens on the same day and keeps me on edge.
In the midst of parenting them and trying to guide them to more desirable behaviors, I also have the stress of knowing that I’ve got to get some work done to help pay the bills around here! Being a work at home mom, no matter how part time or fun it can be, is STRESSFUL.
My BLISSful Moment

Lately, my blissful moments have been happening when I’ve been able to get a workout in. We all know that working out reduces stress! I have been able to enhance that sense of control and clarity this week by drinking neuro BLISS.
It’s low in calories, tasty, and has lifted my spirits. On days that I normally would have blown up and lost it, I’ve been able to keep my composure and deal with the situation INSTEAD of wrangling with my emotions. This drink is a total win in my household! Even my kids benefit from me drinking it.

We love us some Neuro! The sleep is wonderful and actually knocks me out but doesn’t make me drowsy when waking up (does that make sense??)

Wow, that’s crazy! If a drink can make me sleep better, I would be ALLLLLL over it. Question, though…is it carbonated??

I didn’t know this either. I’m definitely going to try this out the next time I see it. Might be a great replacement for “energy” drinks that I tend to grab when I’m stressed and want an extra boost.
