Okay, simple answer – heck no! LOL
I am so not into sports at all. Hubby went to a Superbowl Party at a friend’s house this evening. What was I doing?
Well, first I made some Zuppa Toscana. Started with the sausages and then got the broth/potatoes/onions/etc prepperd and going… Now that I think about it, I left out the garlic. hmm I didn’t have any bacon or bacon bits and used evaporated milk instead of cream, but it was so good!
I also helped the baby take a (late) nap and he woke up and wanted to be held to sleep while I was in the middle of chopping up the sausage bits to put in the soup. lol Yes, that was fun… holding a baby while chopping and dumping greasy sausage!
My kids played Just Dance for Kids for HOURS! They really enjoyed doing that. I enjoyed that they were being active. Oldest son had me read several books to him, too, which led to a big family reading time for about 30 minutes!
Oh and I have been reorganizing our house which include switching bedrooms around and everything… so I worked on getting closets switched around too.
What about you? Did YOU watch the Superbowl? If not, what did you do instead?

well i was there but didn’t watch. lol. i had a blast playing with pdub and a close friends little boy. him and dub are just days apart in age and they had a blast playing together. it was so awesome to spend this very “manly” holiday with some great “old” friends. they just got a new pastor last week so it has been nice spending time getting to know them and getting to feel some what apart of their new adventure. however, it does make us a bit home sick 🙁
also, our big fiasco of the day was dub busting his face right after morning service :(. we thought he may have broken his nose but now after the fact he is just fine, but there was a lot of blood! oh my! the new pastor’s wife was very sweet and stayed with me while brandon cleaned him up, it was very kind of her. poor thing “welcome to hobbs”, hehe!
