Review: Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil (and a GIVEAWAY!) CLOSED

Tropical Traditions provided me with a free quart sized jar or their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil to review on my blog and I am thrilled that I had the chance!  I have been hearing about the benefits of coconut oil for a long time from people and had been ready to try it for a while now.

Right off the bat, I decided to start applying it to my son’s poor dry eczema-ridden skin.  Within a few applications, the texture of his skin totally changed and the red rawness of his skin started to go away!
I have also used it as a massage oil.  Not only does it last *forever* during the massage (and it melts easily going on because coconut oil melts at 76 degrees.  Starts solid, ends liquid?  Cool!), but it washes out VERY easily from fabrics without leaving oil spots.
My kids have also eaten some of the coconut oil (plain even!) and have really enjoyed that.  I feel good knowing that they are receiving all the benefits of the coconut oil.  You could also cook and bake with coconut oil.  Tropical Traditions has tons of recipes here.
