If your kids are anything like mine they are definitely wanting to go to the zoo this summer. I took my kids to the Houston Zoo over Memorial Day weekend and we had a blast! There is so much to do and see for children of all ages, including the adult variety! Right now they have the African Forest Exhibit. My kids LOVED the giraffes! You can even pay a small fee for some lettuce to feed them. How cool is that?!
There are plenty of animals to see both inside and out. You can enjoy refreshments, snacks and even lunch at the many amenities available in the park.
When you are finished head over to Herman Park and ride the train. It’s only $2/person and is a nice finish to a great outing.
The Houston Zoo has generously provided a pack of (4) tickets for admission to the zoo and an additional (4) tickets to ride the carasel located in the children’s section of the zoo. ($58 value for all tickets)
