I wrote this post as part of my participation in a blog tour on behalf of Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division, the makers of SUDAFED®. I received compensation to thank me for taking the time to participate. However, all opinions expressed are my own.
I dread this time of year. This is the time of year when sinus pain and pressure rear their ugly heads and start to make me feel like my head might explode! Sinus congestion is no fun, and it seems to want to hang around in the fall and winter months.
It can make an otherwise normal day seem like a draining life experience. Phone calls seem amplified to where it’s painful to listen to the caller on the other end. Leaning over to pick something up can result in a tiny drip drop of snot at the most inconvenient time. Instead of laughing and smiling, it can make me wince in pain and scowl all day. Ugh!!
What does congestion feel like for me?
There’s the sinus headache:
The squeezing nasal pressure and sinus pain, combined with a leaky faucet nose:
Don’t forget the intense head pressure, which can lead to earaches:
Sweet Relief
When the going gets tough, I tend to reach for SUDAFED® to find relief. What does relief feel like? Like the heavens have opened up! You can almost hear the angels singing. Ha! Really, though, relief feels great. It makes me feel normal again.
I can laugh, and play, and talk, and experience my normal every day without the uncomfortable or painful feelings. If you’ve tried SUDAFED® for relief from sinus pain, I’m sure you know how welcome normal is.
