If your kid (or heck, your husband, dad, brother, uncle, sister, aunt, mom, grandma, etc!) loves finding out weird and unbelievable facts, you will want to check out the “Ripley’s Believe It or Not! STRIKINGLY TRUE” Book.  It has some amazingly WEIRD and bizarre facts, is full of colorful pictures, and has the potential to keep somebody busy for HOURS checking it all out!  This hardcover book retails for $28.95 and is available anywhere books are sold.

My kids loved the novelties of these and LOOOOOOOVED that popping noise!  If your kids are easily amused by suction cups, they’ll seriously love this.  Even if that wouldn’t be a big draw (like it was for mine… lol), the funky characters are a lot of fun.  The best part is that these are inexpensive and would make great stocking stuffers or party favors!!

How about some fun, uplifting kid music?  If your kids love to have their own CDs to sing along with (or you want some safe, fun entertainment during a long road trip for them), check out DidiPop – “Goes to Hawaii” and “Everyday Adventures” CDs.  You can purchase the CDs or an mp3 copy on her website for less than $15.  It is well worth it, and your kids will really love it!

Mine were requesting it any time we got in the car and even asked to take the “Goes to Hawaii” CD inside so they could have a dance time with it in our living room.  There’s just something special about kid music that doesn’t SOUND babyish!

Now I’m proud to be featuring the second book in the new Cooper and Me series for 4 – 7 year olds, Cooper and Me and the Winter Adventure. In the book, co-written by 13-year-old Alexa Peters and her mom, Monique Peters, Cooper and his canine companion, Bella, wander a little too far from home while playing in the snow and become lost.
This book is a great way to teach kids how to make good decisions, to be aware of their surroundings, and what to do when faced with tough choices.  My kid really enjoyed it and have asked for it to be their bedtime story several nights in a row now!  They enjoy to cute illustrations and the light-hearted message and text.

    Yes, you can find them in stores! If you go to their website (http://ickeez.com/) and click “Get Ickee” on the top, it’ll take you to the page where you can click the yellow button to “Find a Store” 🙂
