Wish-Bone Dressings Review and Giveaway

I recently received an AWESOME entertaining package from Wish-Bone.  Did you realize that Wish-Bone has some new flavors of dressings that double as a yummy and unique dip for holiday get togethers (or anytime!)??  I received this YUMMY Entertaining package this week:

  • Two-piece Chip and Dip set (from Crate & Barrel!)
  • 1 bottle Wish-Bone Buffalo Ranch Dressing
  • 1 bottle Wish-Bone Buffalo Ranch Light Dressing
  • 1 bottle of Wish-Bone Guacamole Ranch Dressing
Pretty unique flavors, huh?  My hubs took them to a get together with some friends last night and gave me their feedback.  Their very favorite (as a dip) was the Guacamole Ranch dressing.  Combining the creaminess of Wish-Bone’s original Ranch dressing and the cool smoothness of guacamole, it really made a yummy impact on the group!  It was delicious with some tortilla chips (we used the kind with a hint of lime).  They all agreed it would also make a yummy and satisfying dressing on a taco salad!
They also tried the Buffalo Ranch.  At first hubs didn’t tell his friends what the flavor was, so they were all expecting queso… BIG mistake!  He totally should have given them a heads up, because this tangy buffalo dressing (or dip in this case!) is spicy with a shot of Frank’s RedHot Sauce.  Once they realized what it was, it was agreed that this would be GREAT in a homemade buffalo chicken wrap (put a cooked breaded chicken breast, some cheese, and lettuce all together wrapped in a tortilla and add a generous helping of this yummy dressing as the condiment).  Another idea I came up with was to make homemade buffalo chicken tenders.  I’ve often made my own chicken tenders with boneless skinless breasts dipped in ranch dressing and then coated with some type of breading (panko crumbs, bread crumbs, crushed crackers, etc) and then cooked through in the oven.  This would be a YUMMY surprise kick and super easy!!

    I don’t really have a favorite, but I think I am going to by the Guacamole Ranch tomorrow! It sounds weird, but good all at the same time!
