Great Christmas book for the family and a QUICK Giveaway

The kids and I LOVE reading.  If you’ve read my blog any amount of time, you probably realize this about us! We easily spend a good hour or more reading every single day.  This is usually broken up throughout the day, and then each kid picks 1 or 2 books before bed.  We love it and they learn so much!
Recently, I read a new book that is SO neat.  The kids loved it!  Let me introduce you to Howard B. Wigglebottom.

The book we got was “Howard B. Wigglebottom and the Power of Giving: A Christmas Story“.  This book is written by Howard Binkow and illustrated by Susan F. Cornelison.  The illustrations are absolutely adorable.  My 2, 4, and 6 year old kiddos were giggling and pointing out neat little things in each page of the book.
What I loved is that through this adorable book, my children were being taught that giving is better than receiving… and that family and love is more important than material items.  They were concerned when Howard was separated from his family and delighted to see Howard sharing with those less fortunate.  What a heartwarming story and PERFECT for a nice holiday tradition of reading value-based books.  These would all make very practical and thoughtful gifts for any child.  I promise they will love it as much as my kids have enjoyed them!

There are several other books featuring Howard B. Wigglebottom.  Each one teaches kids morals and values in a fun and easy to understand way for kids of all ages.  They have books listening, bullies, belonging, sportsmanship, and even on what to do when parents fight.  There are lots of FREE songs, games, lessons, posters, and animated books online on the We Do Listen website that correspond to the print books.
