Blueberry Lemon Sugar Scrub
You Will Need:
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup olive oil
6 drops lemon essential oil
6 drops blueberry fragrance oil (affiliate link)
1 drop blueberry soap colorant (affiliate link)

To Make:
Combine all ingredients into a bowl and stir well.
Pour into airtight containers and store this sugar scrub for up to 3 months.

That was really easy, right?! The great thing about sugar scrubs is that it’s really all about a good ratio of sugar and oil. You can even play around with different types of oils and different textures of sugars that are available to you for more of a boutique kind of feel and appearance. Putting them in tiny lidded mason jars with a ribbon can give it a simple, rustic feel that can add some cuteness to anyone’s shower or bath tub.
The colorant is optional, and you could always just use one or the other of the fragrances.
You can create your own blends with dried herbs, essential oils, dried citrus peels, dried flower petals, tea, coffee grounds, and more. I’ve seen so many complicated (but elegant and divine!) recipes, but I prefer to keep it simple for my own needs. If you’re wanting a foot scrub, peppermint oil is amazing. For a belly, butt, thigh, and hip scrub, adding coffee grounds is amazing! For a soothing scrub, try some lavender or eucalyptus. There are just endless combinations to try, and they’re all very giftable.
