Most of my kids are heavily into drawing and coloring, so they got really excited we were chosen to review a 24 count set of Magic Stix Washable Markers from The Pencil Grip, Inc. We’ve loved every single product we’ve gotten from them and have purchased many of them for family, friends, and events over the past few years. I have a feeling these markers will be following that pattern as well!
Don’t forget to stay tuned below this review for a chance to WIN your own set of Magic Stix!
We were fortunate enough to review Magic Stix a while back, but we never did try out their 7 day guarantee. If you have little kids or forgetful folks in your family, listen up. These miracle markers are guaranteed to still work, even if the cap is left off for a whole week. Yes, you read that correctly.
I picked one of the darker colors to try this out. I left the cap off of one of the blue markers and set it on top of my husband’s dresser for a week. As you can see from the photo above, it really held up very well! The ink on “Day Seven” is a bit darker because it was fresh, but it dried exactly the same color as Days one, three, and five. I am so impressed by this.
We all wish we had had sets of markers like this throughout the years, because we’ve had to through away dozens of markers (always their FAVORITE colors) because they got all dried out. If we’d had these, we could have hung on to them and not been left with all of the least favorite colors!
Another thing I love about Magic Stix is that they come in a heavy duty plastic carrying case that snaps closed in two places. This definitely holds up better than a paper box, and it lies flat, so it’s easy to stick in a tote bag with some blank paper for on-the-go entertainment. We have taken it with us to the dentist to use in the waiting room, and got a lot of compliments on how cool it looked. This is the perfect screen-free activity to get the creative juices flowing for kids and adults alike.
Magic Stix are non-toxic, washable, and have vibrant colors. This set has 24 different, brightly pigmented markers. They are long-lasting and a good value for your school supply dollar. Our entire family has used them now, and they are the markers that my kids pull out any time they need some for fun or for a project.
My 8 year old has cards he has to color code for language arts, and he goes straight for the Magic Stix because he likes the tip size and the variety of color choices in the 24 count set. The second my 3 year old sees them out, he comes over to my computer, grabs a stack of blank paper, and sets himself up right next to his older brother! I’ve even caught my 12 year old using the markers for her drawings. She loves to free-hand her art, and these help bring her vision to life.

My 8 year old would LOVE these…she loves all markers, crayons…anything with art! But, the fact that they last with caps off would be very helpful with her almost 6 year old brother. 😉

I have 5 girls, ages 2-13, who love being creative, drawing, and making pictures for loved ones. Homeschooling offers plenty of opportunities for them to try these really neat/impressive sounding markers out.
