So I had the opportunity to try out an all-natural hand sanitizing product and I have to say, it’s great!

What I like most about it is that it is alcohol-free! It doesn’t have that sickening smell and dry hands associated with regular hand sanitizers. Also, it can last for up to 24 hours or 10 hand-washings to keep on protecting you and your family from gross germs that will make you sick.
So, what IS in it?
Ingredients: Amosilq Silica Complex, water, cocamidopropyl betaine, and essential oil fragrance
That’s IT! It’s so safe that you don’t have to freak out if your kid SWALLOWS it! I read an article once about moms using alcohol-based sanitizers on their babies/kids and actually raising their blood alcohol levels significantly. This could be due to ingestion or through skin contact as we absorb SO much through our skin…SCARY!
The scent of Prefense is super light and it feels super light on your skin as well. We used this at the park, at a restaurant playdate,before meals, and after using the bathroom in a place with no soap. It worked great! I’m glad we had it around because the flu and strep are running around like crazy in our area right now!

I have horribly dry hands but that doesn’t mix well with my fear of germs. I love that this actually cleans you without containing alcohol. And it also doensn’t have an overly strong odor. Sometimes that’s okay but sometimes it’s too much. This is the most awesome sanitizer ever made.
