The film is based on a dramatic true story of Tiffany Rubin’s (Henson) daring 2008 rescue of her six-year-old son, Kobe, after he was abducted by his biological father and taken from his home in Queens, New York, all the way to Seoul, South Korea.
The movie Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story was full of all of the emotion and drama that you would expect from an ordeal of a mother fighting to regain custody of her abducted son. In this true story, you will follow her struggle against the law and her undying love for her son. Had I been pregnant while watching this, I would have cried. lol Since I’m not pregnant, I didn’t cry… but really, if you are prone to tears, have some tissues ready when you watch this!
THEN on February 1st, watch for the debut of 2 new shows on Lifetime!
At 9/8 Central on Tuesday, February 1st, join hostess Heidi Klum for her new show “Seriously Funny Kids”. This looks like a really funny show… kind of an ode to Kids Say the Darndest Things (and BOY do they!).
Premiering at 10/9C on Tuesday, February 1st is the new show “One Born Every Minute” which looks like it is going to be a real-life reality show about birth. I am interested to see how “real” it is and what the Cesarean rates are going to be like on the show. I hope it is a good show and not as painful to watch as other network shows!
Well there it is! Hope you check ’em out!
I was able to preview this movie because of my relationship with The Product Review Place, I received an advanced copy of the movie and I was not compensated for my review. All opinions are my own.
