We had a pretty great week, full of family fun. Last weekend, my husband’s employer put on their annual Family Fun Day, and we were excited to meet more of his coworkers and their families. Even more impressive were the amounts of activities they had for the kids!!
By the way, I hope you don’t really think I can make this post wordless. I just don’t have it in me. Maybe I should do my friend Carrie’s Wordy Wednesday instead!
My boys love playing outside, and this area of the venue was especially exciting. They found tons of roley poleys to squish with rocks. Gross, I know! They also found several sticks to wave around, apparently trying hard to poke everyone passing by in the eyes.
My daughter got to ride Ghost. This was her very first time horseback riding, and she loved it. She loved it so much, that after she did it the first time with her dad, she asked me to ride with her a second time. I hadn’t been on a horse in 20 years, so it was fun and different for me!
Family Fun Day ended with a bang when my son won a huge gift basket playing BINGO. Meanwhile, my daughter realized that this little pink musical toy could be played by blowing air out of her nose. Honk!
We had another fun, lazy day yesterday. The kids went to the local splash pad. It has an attached playground, so I took my little guys for a swing. Love.

Looks like a really fun day. I had to chuckle at the roly polys. My kids love to find them and pick them up by the dozens….cringe…..I do not like bugs. My daughter seems to really love them as well.
