One of my most popular posts is about the Strong Marriage Now program, which I received complimentary access to a few years ago. Unfortunately, I never finished the program due to all sorts of valid things that came up, but they’re still excuses. 🙂 I’m going to restart this program with my husband. It is time to take it up a notch for a strong marriage.

My husband and I have a great relationship, for the most part, but I won’t lie. With four kids 8 and under, we have less time to reconnect and share our thoughts with each other than at any other time in our 11 years of marriage. I want to ensure that we continue to have a strong marriage now and for years to come.
A Strong Marriage Might Not Be Easy…. at first
In the Strong Marriage Now program, there are 7 weeks full of videos and homework assignments designed to help a couple feel more in love, to tackle financial and emotional issues that already exist, and to help with better communication. If your spouse isn’t on board to to the lessons, couples can still see results if only one person is completing the program. Couples counseling can be expensive and time consuming, with juggling child care and office hours. This program eliminates that issue entirely since it can be done at home in the time that is conveniently carved out of your own schedule.

Strong Marriage Now: Take 2!
I’ll be making my husband take the time to do these lessons with me. We often go a whole day without saying more than a few words to each other because we’re just so busy. Sometimes, we’re not busy, but we both want a break and to relax after the kids go to bed – and that doesn’t include each other all of the time!
I want to encourage you to check out the Strong Marriage Now website, because they have several different programs and options available now, including several freebies. They have quizzes, free reports, and free videos just for signing up on their list. The great part about them, too, is that they send out fairly frequent emails with great tips and ideas for a strong marriage.
How about you? What has helped you to have a strong marriage?
*I was provided complimentary program access to Strong Marriage Now a few years ago to use with my husband to facilitate a review. All opinions are my own!
I should really check this out…. would love to see an update after you’ve done it!

You know what? I think my husband and I signed up for this too about a year ago but never finished. We have an incredible marriage but I think you should never stop working at it. Thanks for the reminder.

If you’re in the system, your program is waiting for you! You just have to log back in and it’s all there. 🙂 I’m thankful for that, because I loved it before. Life has changed a lot since I started the first time.

Jenn,
That sounds like a great program for a strong marriage! One of the things I think has helped in our marriage is to be able to laugh. Not at each other but just together.
Blessings!

I’ve never heard of this before, it looks like a great program. We try to get out for dates every now and then and it’s tough – and I only have two kids. Sometimes, we are just grateful to have some time to chat in the car when the kids fall asleep.

Getting away without the kids, even if it’s just for dinner, always adds a little rejuvenation to our marriage!
