Do you have a preschool or pre-k kiddo really into monster trucks? This Monster Truck Matching Game is an easy printable to keep them busy without relying on the convenience of screens. It tests their memory while using some of their favorite things.
My three year old has been into Blaze and the Monster Machines for at least 2 years now. He saw these printable game pieces and immediately wanted to play the game with me!
Simply print out the Monster Truck Matching Game, cut into individual game piece squares, and use it like you would any memory matching game. We like to lay ours face down and take turns finding matches. My older kids like to have it where you get a second turn if you find a match on your first turn. I guess just use whatever house rules you would like. 🙂
I like to print these onto some sturdy, white cardstock and store in a snack-sized Ziploc baggie. That makes it easy to take along with you anywhere, but it also allows you to see inside and see what the game is since the bag is clear.
Printable matching games make easy and inexpensive party favors, goodies for kids stuck in the hospital, games to play on vacations in a hotel room or relative’s house, or a good rainy day activity for anytime. If you happen to lose a piece or two, it’s simple to just print out another one!
